Continental Hospital is a prominent multi-specialty, tertiary, and quaternary care hospital located in the IT and Financial District of Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India. The institution was incorporated in 2007 and officially opened its doors to patients in April 2013 under the leadership of its founder, renowned gastroenterologist Dr Guru N. Reddy. While global healthcare conglomerate IHH Healthcare (Parkway Pantai Ltd) acquired a majority 62.2% stake in the facility in 2015, the hospital returned to independent ownership and management under Dr Reddy in December 2022 when the founder's team repurchased the entire global stake. Spanning 18 floors and encompassing 1.4 million square feet, the facility is engineered as India’s first LEED-qualified super-specialty hospital, built to maximize natural light and eco-friendly clinical safety standards. Operable with a capacity of up to 585 beds, it features 16 Modular Green OTs, 90 single-room ICU beds, a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Structurally notable for being the first multi-specialty hospital in India to achieve Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation within two years of its inception, it secured its fourth consecutive JCI Gold Seal of Approval alongside its ongoing National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) certifications. Today, Continental Hospitals houses over 50 medical specialties—with key centers of excellence in gastroenterology, oncology, neurosciences, multi-organ transplants, and advanced cardiology—and maintains dedicated international patient wings to support global medical tourism.
