A Place At Home is a non-medical in-home senior care franchise co-founded in 2012 by two childhood friends, Dustin Distefano and Jerod Evanich, in Omaha, Nebraska which provides a unique approach in home health care that is quickly expanding across the county. After several attempts at finding acceptable care for their loved ones, they were unable to meet their needs at the standard they expected. Both were determined to find a solution for others facing similar challenges, and the idea for A Place At Home was born; a senior-focused care that is comprehensive, consistent, and continuous. From home-based companion care, medical appointments and medication administration, to assisted living options, staffing and discharge placement, A Place at Home is the one place seniors and families can go for comprehensive support services and continuation of care managed by efficient, skilled and kind professionals.

In-Home Care: Depending on the senior’s specific needs, the firm provides a wide range of custom-fit in home services. All care plans are created by a Registered Nurse (R.N.) and delivered by an experienced and compassionate team.

Care Coordination: Provide professional care planning, recommendations and referrals, as well as collaboration with medical and non-medical providers.

Senior Living Alternatives: Work together to understand the criteria to best identify a seniors’ living alternatives and make it easy to transition to their next phase in life

Staffing: The firm is willing to share their certified nursing assistants to health care offices in need of a little extra help.
