The Comfort Keepers'® story began in 1997 when Kris Clum, a registered nurse in home healthcare, experienced its need first hand when the clients where she was working requests her for their necessity. Sometimes it would be a simple request of a loaf of bread or a quart of milk and sometimes, simply a request for a few minutes of conversation to brighten the day. However, as a nurse, she was only allowed to tend to her patients' "medical" needs. Kris and her entrepreneurial husband, Jerry Clum, Jr., knew they could provide a solution, and thus Comfort Keepers came into existence.
Comfort Keepers has a dedicated team of caring professionals who are extensively trained in the responsibilities and approaches needed to enable superior senior care and companionship.
