House calls benefit many homebound  patients, including the elderly people requiring palliative care and those with mental or physical challenges that make it difficult for them to travel to and from appointments. 

Patients who have recently been discharged from the hospital will also benefit from follow-up home visits, helping them stay healthy and avoid hospital readmission.
